Choosing a 30 ml shortfill for caramel

Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

The short version: caramel in Maputo works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a caramel 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo

A caramel 30 ml shortfill from the discounted options in Mozambique costs about MT3.07 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

How we tested caramel in a 30 ml shortfill

1. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
2. Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
3. Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.

• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
• Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Mozambique.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.

Where caramel goes wrong

• Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
• Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
• Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.

The rules that apply here

Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
