Caramel 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Caramel in Maputo: 8 units tested over 4 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Caramel is allowed to say
Caramel in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Caramel 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: caramel in Maputo works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
We run caramel the same way in Maputo: same 30 ml shortfill, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested caramel in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Entry kit | MT64 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.7 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
