Candy vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Candy in Maputo: 19 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a vape pen for candy
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.62 per 10 ml.
Candy vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested candy in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where candy goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long candy in Maputo survives.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
