Candy squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Candy in Maputo: 9 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
We run candy the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at candy in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy squonk mod really costs in Maputo
The honest read on candy: 9 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where candy goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.15 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for candy in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.15 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
