Candy RDA IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Candy in Maputo: 10 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What candy costs in Maputo
Candy RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on candy: 10 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: candy in Maputo works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy RDA really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at candy in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested candy in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where candy goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.88 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT44 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.88 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
How long does candy in a RDA last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
