Candy pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Candy in Maputo: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with candy in Mozambique
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Candy pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: candy in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy pod kit really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested candy in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.15 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

| Entry kit | MT47 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.15 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.15 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
