Candy pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Candy in Maputo: 16 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
A candy pod kit from the flat-rate options in Mozambique costs about MT2.37 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Candy sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy pod kit really costs in Maputo
Candy pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested candy in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where candy goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
