Candy nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Candy in Maputo: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: candy in Maputo works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
A candy nicotine salt bottle from the flat-rate options in Mozambique costs about MT2.62 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where candy goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.62 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Is candy legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
