Candy box mod IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Candy in Maputo: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Candy in Maputo reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on candy: 24 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy box mod really costs in Maputo
Candy in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested candy in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where candy goes wrong
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.07 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.07 per 10 ml liquid plus MT47 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
