Blackcurrant zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Blackcurrant in Maputo: 6 units tested over 3 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Blackcurrant is allowed to say
Blackcurrant zero-nicotine bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A blackcurrant zero-nicotine bottle from the flat-rate options in Mozambique costs about MT2.94 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: blackcurrant in Maputo works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
Blackcurrant in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested blackcurrant in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Maputo survives.
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
Is blackcurrant legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.94 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
