Blackcurrant sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Blackcurrant in Maputo: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What blackcurrant costs in Maputo
Blackcurrant in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on blackcurrant: 6 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
Blackcurrant sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested blackcurrant in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for blackcurrant in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does blackcurrant in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
