Blackcurrant prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Blackcurrant in Maputo: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Blackcurrant prefilled pod here
Blackcurrant in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A blackcurrant prefilled pod from the compared options in Mozambique costs about MT3.39 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: blackcurrant in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
Blackcurrant in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested blackcurrant in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
