Blackcurrant pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Blackcurrant in Maputo: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What blackcurrant costs in Maputo
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.41 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a blackcurrant pod kit really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested blackcurrant in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Maputo survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.41 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
