Home / Blackcurrant pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist

How to tell a good pod kit from a repack

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a blackcurrant pod kit really costs in Maputo

Blackcurrant in Maputo reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.

How we tested blackcurrant in a pod kit

1. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
2. Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
3. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.

• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Mozambique.
• Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.

Where blackcurrant goes wrong

• Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
• Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

The rules that apply here

Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Packaging for blackcurrant in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
