How we tested Blackcurrant mesh tank here
Blackcurrant mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on blackcurrant: 14 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant mesh tank really costs in Maputo
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.18 per 10 ml.
How we tested blackcurrant in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.18 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.18 per 10 ml liquid plus MT66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
