Blackcurrant mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Blackcurrant in Maputo: 23 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the blackcurrant habit
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.11 per 10 ml.
Blackcurrant mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a blackcurrant mesh tank really costs in Maputo
Blackcurrant in Maputo reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested blackcurrant in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
