Berry squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Berry in Maputo: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Berry is allowed to say
Berry squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Berry sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: berry in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a berry squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Berry in Maputo reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested berry in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every berry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where berry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for berry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Berry | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | squonk mod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 20 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT39 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.81 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.81 per 10 ml liquid plus MT39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should berry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does berry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the berry blend itself harsh.
