Berry pen device IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Berry in Maputo: 16 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the berry habit
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Berry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.06 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long berry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a berry pen device really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested berry in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every berry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where berry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why berry tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.06 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for berry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.06 per 10 ml liquid plus MT33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does berry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the berry blend itself harsh.
