Apple vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with apple in Mozambique
Apple in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple vape pen really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested apple in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where apple goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.8 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Is apple legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
How long does apple in a vape pen last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
