Apple squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Apple in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple squonk mod really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at apple in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested apple in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.16 per 10 ml liquid plus MT31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does apple in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
