Home / Apple RDA IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist

What the label on Apple is allowed to say

Apple RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a apple RDA really costs in Maputo

Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.

How we tested apple in a RDA

1. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
2. Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.

• Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
• Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.

Where apple goes wrong

• Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Treating the advertised MT49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.88 per 10 ml.
• Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.

The rules that apply here

Packaging for apple in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
