Apple pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.52 per 10 ml.
The honest read on apple: 20 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a apple pod kit really costs in Maputo
Apple in Maputo reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested apple in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.52 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
How long does apple in a pod kit last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
