Apple pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Apple is allowed to say
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.6 per 10 ml.
Apple in Maputo reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a apple pod kit really costs in Maputo
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.6 per 10 ml.
How we tested apple in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where apple goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.6 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
