Apple mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 6 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
The honest read on apple: 6 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.13 per 10 ml.
The short version: apple in Maputo works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple mesh tank really costs in Maputo
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested apple in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where apple goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for apple in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does apple in a mesh tank last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.13 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
