Apple box mod IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 23 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Apple box mod here
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.56 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple box mod really costs in Maputo
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.56 per 10 ml.
How we tested apple in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long apple in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.56 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
