Apple 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the apple habit
Apple in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.06 per 10 ml.
The short version: apple in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at apple in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested apple in a 60 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where apple goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
