Apple 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
The honest read on apple: 17 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: apple in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
A apple 60 ml bottle from the compared options in Mozambique costs about MT3.43 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested apple in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where apple goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.43 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
