Apple 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Apple is allowed to say
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: apple in Maputo works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
We run apple the same way in Maputo: same 100 ml bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested apple in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where apple goes wrong
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
How long does apple in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a 100 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.97 per 10 ml liquid plus MT51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
