Apple 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.72 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
We run apple the same way in Maputo: same 100 ml bottle, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested apple in a 100 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where apple goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long apple in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.72 per 10 ml.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.72 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
How long does apple in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
